Better Than Good - Creating a Life You Can't Wait to Live by Zig Ziglar

"Better Than Good: Creating a Life You Can't Wait to Live" by Zig Ziglar is a motivating book by one of the most popular motivation authors and speakers of the last five decades. In this book, Ziglar aims to inspire you to redefine success and achieve your dreams. He wants you to live a life that is Better Than Good. I believe he's done just that. You can't help but to feel better and be more motivated to pursue and achieve more out of your life after reading this book. The three parts of the book, or pillars of the good life, are Passion, Peak Performance, and Purpose. In these parts, Ziglar shares stories and examples, mixed with common sense wisdom gained over years of experience, and faith based lessons to help you become inspired and passionate about setting goals, developing good habits, and living the life you were called to live.Ziglar is a devout Christian and there is a strong spiritual message in this book. Part testimony to how becoming a Christian changed his life, and part call for readers to accept Christ. Ziglar acknowledges that some people are interested in his thoughts on motivation, success, training, and performance, but are not interested in his thoughts on spirituality, and he respects that completely. With that said, this book has a strong dose of spirituality based on Ziglar's Christian faith. I believe this will greatly appeal to some, but maybe not others. I put it in the review so you can decide.I personally enjoyed the book and found it quite motivating. It caused me to think about some things in my life as I strive to live "Better Than Good." I agree with one of Ziglar's old quotes that motivation wears off, just like a shower cleans you but you get dirty again. That's why we bathe daily and why I like to read or listen to something motivating regularly if not daily. This was a good, positive, motivating read, and a book that will help many people live better than good lives. dr seuss cat in hat book
